I'm Beth! I've taught Pilates for over two decades and have remained very active into my 50's. I created The Balance Movement so that we can continue to do the things we love pain-free as we age. And, so we can avoid catastrophic falls later in life.

I started studying Pilates in my 20's while working on my career in corportate accounting. Then 9/11 happened, and I decided to take a big leap and follow my passion. So, I moved to New York City to study Pilates under the most esteemed teachers in the world. Over the past 20 years, I have opened two Pilates studios, and I hole two comprehensive Pilates certifications (Power Pilates and Romana's Pilates).

I have taught hundreds and hundreds of clients over the past two decades, and from them, I have learned the brilliance of the human body, the value of willpower, the importance of connection and that movement heals.

I created The Balance Movement because when I turned 50, I developed foot pain and noticed my joints were stiff. I started to hear the same complaint from other middle agers. Then the older crowd shared with me their fears fo falling.

I am happy to say that because I practice these balance exercises everyday- yes, I do my own videos- my foot pain is gone. Not only that, I've started jogging again, and I play pickle ball five times a week.

I am excited about being active for the rest of my life. Thank you for being here!
